Yesterday the Classic Jet Fighter Museum Parafield Airport, here in Adelaide held an air display in order to raise money for the rebuild of an F4U-1 Corsair. It was not intended as a full blown airshow, just some aircraft doing fly-by's, with the museums planes on static display. Some rides for the kids etc. Here are a handful of pics from yesterday.

Then sadly the display was cut short, due to the crash of this 80% Spitfire Replica, and the death of local pilot Roger Stokes.
The second pic taken 30 sec before the plane rolled, then dived nose first killing the pilot on impact. A very sad end to what could have been a great family day.
