Gates of the Public and Military Day are open, visitors are invited. Those who prefer to avoid squeezing are invited to come earlier to be the first to see all the expositions.

10.00 – 20.00
Military village – expositions of all the branches of armed forces, weapons and equipment, military educable games and tests, military porridge, military photography parlour, military history and other pleasures of recognition. A special guest – contingent of NATO Baltic Air Policing mission.

Aviation exposition: history of aviation in Lithuania, exposition of Lithuanian and foreign war aircrafts.

Exposition and marketing by regional communities of Šiauliai
Guest expositions: public organizations, Fire Rescue Service of Šiauliai, Aircraft Modelling Club, etc.
 
12.00
Official opening of the international air show Steel Wings 2012 of the Public and Military Day: military orchestras, Honour Guard Company, a jump by the team of the Lithuanian Great Hetman Jonušas Radvila Training Regiment’s Parachute Training Centre with the flags of all the participants.

12.20
Aerobatics show by Jurgis Kairys.

12.30 – 14.00
A parade of ancient aircraft replicas.
Performance by the Lithuanian Air Force
Demonstration of a joint operation by the Lithuanian Special Operations and Air Force.
Joint operation “Distinguishing Fire”. Lithuanian Air Force and Fire Rescue Service of Šiauliai.

14.00 – 16.00
Demonstration of capabilities of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, military band programme, performances by the Honour Guard Company in the military village.
Performances by amateur clubs of Šiauliai city and districts.

16.00 – 16.10
Demonstration programme of a plane model.

16.10 – 17.15
Aerobatic performances by various aircrafts and aircraft groups from Lithuania and foreign countries

17.15 – 19.25
Performances by NATO air assets AND a show by fighter-jets.

20.00 - 21.30
A concert.

12.40-12.55 LAF cargo planes An-2 (Poland), L-410 (Czech Republic) (pilot Cpt. Romanas Azarevičius ) and C-27J „Spartan“ (Italy) parade;

12.55-13.05 LAF Cpt. Romanas Azarevičius performance flight with cargo plane L-410 (Czech Republic).

13.05-13.15 LAF Cpt. Antanas Matutis performance flight with helicopter Mi-8T (Russia);

13.15-13.30 Joint hostage-rescue exercise between the infantry brigade „Iron Wolf“ with LAF C-27J „Spartan“ aircraft and helicopter Mi-8T flight personnel;
