HAF 348 Squadron Suspension of Operations RF-4E Phantom II Retirement Spotters Day Event February 15th, 2017 HAF 348 Squadron, one of the oldest and most historic Hellenic Air Force squadrons, is preparing to suspend its operations after 64 years of continuous operation at the same time with the RF-4E Phantom II retirement.

For this special moment, HAF organizes special festivities in 110 Combat Wing in Larissa city which will take place from May 4th to 5th 2017.

A static and flying display is going to take place on Friday the 5th. More specifically, static display will include aircrafts from European Recce Squadrons and the HAF Recce Phantoms. The flying display will include the last active Recce Phantoms in mixed formation with the other HAF aircrafts and the Demo teams “Zeus” & “Daedalus”. 110 Combat Wing will host a Spotters Day event on Thursday May 4th 2017.

The Spotters Day event is reserved for a limited number of aircraft spotters, who will get an exclusive chance to see and photograph the last active European Recce Phantoms, the arrival of the foreign participants and the trial demos of the main event under slightly different conditions than on the Airshow day itself.

The Spotters Day event is expected to take place within 0730 – 1500 (Local Time) hours according to the following tentative schedule: Open gates/arrival 0730 Registration 0730 – 0900 Tour 0900 – 1500 Departure 1500 Beware: Times are subject to change! The number of participants is limited to 300. Application only through the official event email address.

Your application has not been registered and accepted before your receive an individual confirmation e-mail from the Spotters’ Day event staff. Send your application to (348.spotters@gmail.com) no later than March 31st. Please note that there will be no automatic confirmation for receiving and reading e-mails. Rules & Regulations: 1. Instructions from the Spotters Day staff and military personnel have to be followed. 2. Fences, signs and restrictions given from any soldier at the airbase have to be followed - any kind of contravention will lead to immediate exclusion. 3. 110 Combat Wing reserves the right to refuse admission and expel people if the rules and regulations are violated. 4. No entry to areas except for the ones appointed by the Spotters Day staff. 5. Children under 14 years of age cannot participate in the Spotters Day event. 6. We do not provide disabled parking and transport during the Spotters Day event. 7. Animals, ladders, small three steps chairs and folding chairs, wind breakers, tents and umbrellas are not permitted on base. 8. Smoking is only allowed outside in holding areas due to risk of fire. 9. Photo ID (passport) and confirmation e-mail must be shown upon arrival to 110 Combat Wing. 110 Combat Wing will withhold the passport/photo ID during the Spotters Day. 10. Entry only through the main Base gate. Detailed information will be sent to registered participants before the Spotters Day event. Mają rozmach  .........W 2009 Marine Corps Air Station Yuma stworzył ścianę 15-historia płomieniem prawie dwóch mil długi, ustanawiając rekord świata w najdłuższej Ścianę Ognia. Saperów Tora Tora Tora i MCAS Yuma Operacje podstawowe koordynowała wybuchu wzdłuż linii lotu stacji. Ściana ognia składa się z dynamitu, elektrycznych spłonek i 20.000 stóp kręgowego detonacji.

Witam Panowie zaczynamy przygotowania do NATO TIGERS  2017 . Mają być  2 Spotters dni ;8 Czwartek i 14 Środa i jeszcze dzień otwarty na pewno w wyk end .                                                http://www.natotigers.org/tiger-news/spottersday-ntm-2017                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Terminy są do d..p środek tygodnia      Dla zainteresowanych podaję nazwy tanich Hoteli gdzie za 25-40 euro można wynająć pokój dla 3-4 osób premiereclasse.com lub hotelF1 .   A  na fotki  pod płotem mapka         Mała miejscowość Bodilis. Parking mała zatoczka znak szczególny stoją tam kosze na odpady segregowane . Niebieska Linia to droga polna przez mały lasek ,można zaparkować i na niej . Ale jest wąska i podczas ćwiczeń może być zapchana. Doradzam mały spacer bo parkowanie pod płotem bazy będzie raczej nie możliwe . Z powodu sytuacji jaka jest we Francji są kontrole .To z mojego doświadczenia bo byłem tam 12 lipca na Pożegnaniu Dassault Super-Étendard który został wycofany ze służby.Dlatego też w tej bazie będą ćwiczenia NATO bo jest teraz w miarę pusta i leży niedaleko brzegu morskiego .Co daje możliwości do innego rodzaju ćwiczeń jak rok temu w Saragossie . Jest jeszcze lewa strona lotniska ale jej nie praktykowałem.

Witam Panowie ,zamieszczam parę pierwszych moich fotek .  Nie za bardzo jestem zadowolony z końcowej jakości ,bo w Lightroom wyglądały lepiej . Zastosowałem się do zalecanych wymiarów ,ale myślę ze mam jakieś drobne parametry żle ustawione w programie . Taki tam mały reportaż video .Nic nadzwyczajnego bo kręcone kamerko za 150 euro .I bez kadrowania , o którym  Pan Sławek mówił na wykładzie w sobotę .Ale byłem w Muzeum dosłownie parę minut i to przypadkowo .Nie miałem ze sobą sprzętu, ani żadnego planu w głowie na reportaż. Po prostu znalazłem się w odpowiednim   miejscu  o odpowiedniej  porze .
